When the family despaired of Lindsay he was told to ‘try politics’.
A good move….Lindsay landed on his feet with a whopping salary and a lifestyle he could only dream of.
His critics have questioned why he travels first class with two or three aides but he said his arrangements were modest in comparison with other Speakers. He claims he has only travelled first class twice….so that’s ok then!
As for his meaningless...’speaking truth to power’…..what a pretentious clown.
If this man is supposed to be representing democracy in all its glory we are doomed.
