In Praise of Ian Henderson

This is not the Dame but from a Labour activist in North Ken…

Feeding the Hungry…anathema..for someone like hard left Ali and his gang

“Henderson is the best Labour Councillor that RBKC has ever had by a mile. He saved a social housing estate from the wrecking ball. He made sure that starving people dependent on the Foodbank during the pandemic got their food delivered. He was condemned by the Dent Coad faction in the CLP for his work at the food bank because the then Tory MP helped out at the Foodbank whilst Henderson was there. Nice to know that the Dent Coad faction had the welfare of Kensington’s starving, including starving kids, foremost in their socialist minds.

A community effort to beautify the estate…led and driven by Henderson: unlike the hard left ideologues who do sweet FA but talk

What did these ultra hard left wingers do to make sure the starving ate during the pandemic? -Sweet Fanny Adams – nothing at all.

It is a pity that Ian did not get in as an independent candidate in Stanley in 2014. He wanted to sort out the Council’s housing management functions. He made this commitment just after Dent Coad had departed from the Housing Board having achieved nothing during her four year tenure on it. She told Vanesa Feltz, “There was nothing an opposition councillor could do” so she did nothing. What is opposition for? Doing nothing, the Emma way. PLEASE…………………”

This is so unfair…Emma and Kasmin have a lot of party organisational work to do. Both have been flat-out helping Jeremy with the new party and at the same time Kasmin is very heavily involved with his Somalian political interests. This sniping all the time is why we have never been able to work as comrades and oust the fascist Starmer and his acolytes

Now be fair to Dent Coad,

The one thing that she single handedly achieved in the four years that she was on that TMO Board was to insist that the term, “Chairman of the Board” be replaced with the genderless noun, “Chair.”

Miss Widdecombe, the voice of reason, said, “A Chair is something that someone sits on and no one sits on me.”

You do not understand that historically we upper classes of the left have played an important didactic role in guiding the proletariat(or proles as we would describe them at Roedean!)
North Kensington should be grateful that we are there for them. I make no apologies for my impeccable ancestry.

Hardly sound judgment on the part of EDC to insist on changing the term “Chairman” to “Chair” especially when one remembers how tenants were treated by the so called Tenant Management Organisation. It would have been better if she paid more honest attention to people’s housing issues and stopped the TMO throwing a bucket full of excreta over residents who demanded change and reform.

If policing people’s language is the order of the day then I don’t think much of it. It is nothing to do with sexism, it is all to do with controlling people and seeking to inhibit what they really want to say. Trots are very keen on this sort of crap.

I thought this sort of left wing political correctness died out with Neil Kinnock’s Labour Party but it is alive and well with that most exemplary and obedient Corbynista, Emma Dent Coad.

Does the fact that Ian Henderson has for a second time in a row not been selected to stand as a Labour councillor reflect more poorly on his own political acumen, or the judgement of certain individuals commenting here?
If he’s so desperate to be elected he should go Independent, again.

Is the rationale of your comment that there is not a Commie conspiracy against Ian? And why should a Labour man be forced to stand as a Inde just because a clique of corrupt Commies won’t accept him.

Oh, there’s a Marxist conspiracy against Ian, mate. There have been plots to destabilise him for years. It started when Dent Coad realised he was a threat to her plonking her arse back on the green leather benches and picking up a salary that she would never command anywhere else – with all the other left and right wing non-hopers who gravitate to that place.

It would be good if Ian stood against Dent Coad in whatever Ward she thinks will Return her. It is quite one thing being shown the door in a parliamentary election, I don’t she could cope if she did not get back in a small insignificant, West London, Town Hall.

Ian Henderson has a way with people which Emma Dent Coad is unable to match. Emma has a superior attitude. She lets everyone know that she is royalty descended from the Borgias and Catherine de Medici. Quite simply, she knows what is best for those on the breadline.

Sorry but sme of you are miles out about Labour.
Marxists and Commies in the Labour Party these days are rarer than hen’s teeth!

Labour has gone from one extreme to another and these days some party figures are trying to out “right wing” the Tories.

If I were to speculate on real reasons why Ian Henderson didn’t get shortlisted, I’d say it was because of his strong campaigning and popularity. Some people trying to elbow their way into parliament will see him as a threat.

Also these days the Labour leadership looks to be in the pockets of the dodgy developers housebuilding lobby.

So they really wouldn’t want strong and popular voices on social housing and Grenfell coming in would they?

Come to think of it Cllr Ali has been hopelessly weak and incompetent over housing and Grenfell matters which, following that logic might explain why Labour let him go on the shortlist and remain Labour group leader again.

The good news for the K & C Labour group is that Press & Nail will be coming back.
The bad news besides Henderson not being shortlisted is that Ali Simmons & at least 3 others will form a bloc to keep Press & Nail out of the top jobs & the Labour group will carry on being a weak opposition who might as well not be there. Just the same as they are now.

Thank you for the information, Anon.

Labour promised the shafting of the Emmaites as prospective councillor candidates at the Local Council elections in 2026.

When I heard that the shafting of this shower was being postponed until 2026, I always knew that it would not take place.

I won’t be voting Labour. Securing my vote was conditional on all of the Emmaites being out in their ears. I would like to hear Monica Press’s views on this disgraceful situation wrought on the local party by Labour’s London Regional Office.

I bet Dent Coad loves it.

Her acolytes have not been barred from standing for Labour.

Proper, disciplined, Labour Councillors would shun and isolate that woman in the Town Hall Council Chamber for being a turncoat and standing against Powell at the parliamentary election.

Whereas, this lot who profess to be Labour (because that is their best bet chance of getting back in) embrace their Corbynite mate, Dent Coad.

Be warned their Marxist, Syndicalist / Trotskyite virtues proceed them.

Why hasn’t Powell complained to Labour Party London Regional about this travesty of justice?

Corbyn and Coad were both shafted by Labour National.

Diane Abbott escaped shafting by the skin of her teeth and then went back on her “sincere apologies” for being nasty about the level of racism suffered by the Jews and the Irish. She has had the parliamentary whip withdrawn. She is, nonetheless, still in the Party. If Labour London Regional cannot shaft Kensington’s “Emmaites” efficiently then there is no prospect of showing Abbott the door once and for all. Do not deny us the privilege of putting the “Emmaites” out in the cold.

Dent Coad was “all talk and no action.” Parading Corbyn and Abbott around Grenfell was boastful and ostentatious.
