A LORD & HIS ALLIES

Smug One!

Lord Alli’s allies at the top of the Labour Party are more numerous than we ever imagined. It now seems that Rayner and her friend Sam Tarry enjoyed a luxury stay at the smug-looking lord’s Manhattan penthouse.

It would seem like tears before bedtime for Sir Keir’s stumbling government. For an infant government to be so wracked with scandal is shocking.

If David Miliband were Prime Minister we would have seen stability and a mature and intelligent Cabinet….so sad.

It used to be said that the Tories were always involved in sex scandals and Labour were always involved in money scandals.

I used to love a good Tory sex scandal and wished that Labour MP’s would be more imaginative between the sheets. Cynthia Payne, the Mumsey English Madam, from Ambleside Avenue, in Streatham said,

“I prefer the Tories because they are kinkier.”

    Oswald Moseley said,

” Vote Labour, F*ck Tory.” and I quite agree.

To say that the gifts received by Labour MP’s (Stramer, Rayner and possibly Reeves) is a money scandal is disingenuous. The Tories turned greed in to a virtue and Labour MP’s followed suit and appreciate a good freebie. They may well be greedy but that is not a money scandal. To their credit, there appears to be a higher standard of probity about following the rules. Look where being cavalier about any rules landed Boris Johnson – up the creek without a paddle. It also appears to be the case that Starmer made enquiries about reporting the money given to him for his wife’s wardrobe and acted on that advice which affords some explanation for the delay in reporting. He is greedy but not lacking in personal integrity.

How I wish the Parliamentary Register required MP’s to report The News of the Screws – I would rather hear about who is having it off with whom than bout Starmer’s glasses and suits and his wife’s free flowing crepe de chine designer dresses.

Greediness is not a money scandal. Margaret Thatcher appealed to the electorate’s greed.

What is about those on the left, including the extreme hard left, when it comes to money?

Remember Emma Dent Coad, the Corbynista, giving up her Councillor’s Allowance because she did not want to be paid twice for representing Golborners – once by Parliament and again by the Council. I was so impressed when she gave up her Councillor’s Allowance. I was disappointed when she started drawing her Councillor’s Allowance on the q.t.

They haven’t got any and they want it.

They’re envious of the trappings of old money, privilege and the power of money- the love of money.

Nothing wrong with money but there is something wrong with the love of money.

They all love money despite what they say about the rich and the poor.

Victoria, Lady Borwick, was a Triple Dipper.

Emma Dent Coad was an anti Double Dipper who double dipped and tried to pull the wool over the voters’ eyes.

Boris Johnson wanted someone else, a wealthy Tory, to pay for his wife’s expensive refurbishment of Downing Street’s prime ministerial flat. Remember the wallpaper and slagging off the existing John Lewis’ furnishings.

Starmer and his wife get their clothes paid for by the wealthy Labour peer, Lord Ali.

    Blair’s Blind trust was problematic.

Kensington Councillors looked after themselves by approving a very generous allowances’s system. “Never mind serving the community” both Labour and Tory Councillors said, “”Just give us the money.”

If Starmer thought it ethical to accept these expensive gifts whilst Prime Minister how can we sure he would have felt it ethical to accept gifts when Director of Public Prosecutions? I am someone with high moral standards yet wonder if a few gifts might help me with the new DPP?

Nice try Dylan, but no, no. no.

I hear that Labour cannot afford to heat these old Victorian prisons and you might just freeze to death inside.

    Rachel,

You are going to allow old ladies to freeze to death this winter.
