Cllr Dori Schmetterling is a fine, hardworking councillor…and a good egg.

……so what has Andrew Foster got against him and why are the good people of Pembroke Ward being deprived of his services?

The Dame has never met this councillor but she has heard only good things about him. There was a particular and totally untruthful comment which the Dame did not take seriously.

There seems a singular lack of transparency at the local party organisation level. Residents are entitled to know why good councillors are replaced at the whim of some party apparatchik.

Has Dori offended Mr Foster? We need to be told.

Is this Foster the top dog in the local Conservative Association?

Schmetterling has been elected by voters and is popular.

Perhaps, Schmetterling should have bought a few more rounds of drinks in the Con Club.

That’s politics for you. It always ends in tears.

Did the Chief Whip for RBKC Tories get the ‘ump with Dori?

Flicka knows that it is the death knell for an MP if the Chief Whip says,

I have been talking to your Constituency Party Chairman and he is very unhappy with you.

The talk in Hornton Street is that Foster has promised to make some of his favoured people council candidates so he needs to clear out hard working and popular serving councillors to make room for them. The talk is also that the replacements are not of the highest calibre.

So, Foster’s proposed replacement candidates are “not of the highest calibre.” Nothing new in that! The same can be said of the hard left Corbynite candidates who replaced popular, hard working and well respected Councillors in the communist coup before the council elections in 2022.

Some politicians deserve “shafting” but this one is a good guy. Shame be on whoever had a hand in doing him down.

So, the Tory Party is now doing what the local Labour Party did a few years ago. Councillors Press, Henderson, Nail and Healey were “shafted” by the Labour Party so that the hard left could take over.

The moderate left promised to repay the seeing off of Press, Henderson, Nail and Healy. They also promised to have a valedictory occasion for Judith Blakeman to mark her outstanding service as Leader of the Opposition Group on the Council and her dedication to the voters of Notting Dale.

When will they get round to doing any of this?

Why don’t you contact and ask them directly instead of whinging on this lowly online echo chamber?

They’re all talk and no action, that’s why I don’t ask them.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!

“Get a grip” has really got the needle. One of the glories of living in a western democracy is that people enjoy free speech. This “lowly on line echo chamber” is a monument to free speech.”

They will get rid of the Corbynite councillors at the next local council election.

Don’t worry, Dori, those who do sh*tty things in politics pay a price for their manipulative behaviour. You are worth ten of the cronies who think they can replace you.

Is it time that Foster is deposed as Chairman of the local Tory Association?
