When in panic, the bureaucratic response is to set up a GOLD COMMAND

It gives the impression of military-like rapid reaction.

We are now weeks into the very serious cyber attack which has not just wreaked havoc at RBKC but damaged the triborough partners at Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster. The Triborough nonsense was a Cockell idea. How the partner councils must regret ever getting involved now that they have been infected.

There has been no communication from our CEO. When M&S was attacked Stuart Machin, the CEO was quick to take the rudder: it seems Maxine Holdsworth is all at sea.

    There is a firm of Solicitors inviting people who have ever shopped at M&S online or ordered goods and services from M&S online to register an interest in going after M&S for compensation in connection with the M&S cyber attack last year.

    Now to turn to M&S.
    Maxine Holdsworth needs to take stock. Solicitors might set up a similar class action against the Council? The Council had all its reserves wiped out by the Grenfell fire. The super efficient Tory flagship is now sailing at half mast and may well have to raise the Council Tax to pay compensation to the victims of the cyber attack.

    Added to that RBKC are engaging in nefarious corrupt procedures in their attempts to circumvent proper governance in trying to retain a management committee which does what they are told and does not represent residents on the Lancaster West Estate.

      It was always thus on Lancaster West.

      In Kingsford’s day at the TMO, Lancaster West did what he wanted. The Lancaster West Board knew their place. That situation continued under Perry, Evans and Black. Like you, I hoped that things would improve for Lancaster West when the TMO’s modular management agreement to manage council housing was brought to an end because the TMO was not fit for purpose. So, nothing changed at Lancaster West. The truth is nothing ever changes at the Council unless the Council wants it to change.

      What is Joe Powell and the Labour Councillors elected to represent Notting Dale doing about this disgraceful situation at Lancaster West?” Sweet Fanny Adams that’s what.”
